Glow, Newcastle’s mission is to create opportunities for children and young people to engage in making art and culture.

Our aim is for young people in Newcastle to see working in our creative and cultural industries as a real and viable career path, irrespective of background or economic status.

Current Residencies:

Storytelling through Movement and Visual Art in partnership with South Gosforth First School and artist John Quinn.

Put Your Stamp on It: Graffiti / Mural Art / Wall Art, Personal Identity and Shared Ownership of Space in partnership with Mary Astell Academy and artist Dan Walls.

Spark, Mix, Connect: Our Art, Our Way in partnership with Newcastle Bridges School

Build up STEAM: Create to Empower in partnership with Newcastle College Childcare and Teacher Training Department

Speak up, Listen up, Pass the Mic! in partnership with Hawthorn Primary School in Elswick

As part of our relaunch as an independent charity Glow, Newcastle Cultural Education Partnership is currently programming an exciting portfolio of city-wide CPD events and creative career development opportunities to be announced over Spring, Summer and Autumn 2024
