Lisa Opie is Managing Director of Ubisoft Reflections in Newcastle upon Tyne and Ubisoft Leamington in Leamington Spa.
Ubisoft is a leading global video games company, and the two UK studios Lisa directs have achieved worldwide success with their work on the development of Assassin’s Creed, The Division, Just Dance, and more.
Ubisoft Reflections and Ubisoft Leamington are known as AAA studios, which means they work on high-budget, high-profile games like the examples given above. They are currently in production with a new game and they co-develop several major Ubisoft titles with multiple partners around the world.
Lisa was previously Managing Director Production, BBC Studios. She helped lead the division into the commercial market, selling BBC programmes across the world, and oversaw the development of a raft of titles including Planet Earth 2, Doctor Who, Trying, Strictly Come Dancing, and Good Omens, among many more.
